Cr2 Shooting Solutions is built on a foundation of experience and expertise, offering a range of services from Training to Consulting and Retail Sales, all aimed at developing superior technical and tactical capabilities.
How It All Began
The foundation of Cr2 Shooting Solutions was laid in 2017 when Christopher Roberts and Christopher Rance developed a friendship while serving as instructors at the U.S. Army Sniper Course.
Progression in Sniper Community
Recognizing a need for progression in the sniper community, they dedicated the next three years to advancing the Sniper Course Program of Instruction (POI). This included contributing to the update of the Sniper Manual (TC 3-22.10), writing new individual and collective tasks, and modernizing engagement techniques. Their work also led to the adoption of new equipment such as the Precision Sniper Rifle MK22, Leupold MK5hd Precision Optic, Really Right Stuff Improved Sniper Tripod Kit, and the M110 Buttstock Upgrade Kit from B5 Systems.
The Beginning
In 2020, amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, Roberts and Rance set out to expand their passion for marksmanship and tactical training to a broader audience. Their vision was to provide doctrinally grounded instruction that was modern, adaptable, and built for real-world application—this time, for the civilian market. From that mission, CR2 Shooting Solutions was born.
